The forum was held from 23 to 26 August in Novosibirsk. This year, the main topic of the forum is “Technological Sovereignty and Sustainable Development of Russia”.
The program of the event included 10 tracks dedicated to various areas and aspects of the development of high technologies: biotechnology and genetics, new technologies in the energy sector and the green economy, digital technologies, agricultural technologies, issues of staffing the innovative economy, etc.
On August 24, 2022, within the framework of the round table "Implementation of the Roadmap "Technologies of New Materials and Substances", complex scientific and technical programs of the full innovation cycle" of the working group "Nuclear Technologies and Megascience Projects", expert discussions were held on such product areas as "Rare and rare earth metals”, “Additive technologies”, “Polymer composite materials”. The event was opened by Director for Technological Development of Rosatom State Corporation Shevchenko A.B., the session was moderated by the General Director of the NTI Foundation Medvedev V.V.
Vice-Rector for Science of the Russian Chemical Technical University named after D.I. Mendeleeva Anna Shcherbina (the university is one of the members of the Association) and the head of the project office of the Association Khromova Elena, during the discussion, raised issues related to the specifics of production cycles for rare metals, highlighting the key technical, economic, organizational and legislative difficulties in developing new deposits and launching new industries , an assessment was given to the long-term prospects of the industry and the role of the Association in its development.
Effective realization of the development potential of the industry of production of rare and rare earth metals is possible only by combining the efforts of geological exploration, processing to the most high-tech products, mutually beneficial cooperation between suppliers and consumers, and established communications with government agencies.
The Technoprom International Forum is rightfully recognized as the largest technological event in Russia and has become an effective platform for promoting innovations and high-tech projects, as well as for dialogue between representatives of industrial and innovative enterprises, research centers and government authorities and the development of coordinated decisions on scientific -technological development of the country.
In March this year, the Forum received the status of an annual scientific forum, the number of participants will increase from year to year.
